About the role
The Florida Panthers are hiring an Account Executive for Group Sales, selling group ticket packages to South Florida businesses, membership organizations, schools, and clubs.
The role runs proactive outbound sales, cold calling, networking, referrals, and community engagement, working both prospected leads and internal campaigns from the club database. You get a full menu of products to sell: season, suite, concert and event, and partial packages, plus fan experience packages.
It sits in Ticket Sales reporting to the Senior Manager, Group Sales, and the posting describes the environment as fast-paced, competitive, and rewarding. Beyond hitting revenue targets, the job is about building client relationships that drive renewals and retention.
Full-time and on-site in Sunrise, not remote-eligible, with evenings and weekends as the game and event schedule requires. No pay range is stated.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and sell group ticket packages to businesses, schools, membership organizations, and clubs
- Run proactive outbound sales through calls, emails, and in-person appointments
- Identify new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and community engagement
- Execute sales campaigns driving new business, renewals, and upselling
- Work the full product menu including season, suite, concert, and partial packages
- Build long-term client relationships that support retention
Requirements
- Previous sales experience, preferably in sports, live entertainment, or hospitality
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets in a high-volume environment
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, pipeline management, and closing
- Strong consultative selling and cross-selling skills
- A real interest in client experience and service
- Available for evenings and weekends around games and events
