About the role
The Florida Panthers are hiring a Director, Partnership Development into what the posting calls a player-coach role inside Corporate Partnerships. You lead a team of partnership sellers and carry your own new-business quota, so you still close deals yourself and set the standard for the team.
The role drives new partnership revenue across the club's whole portfolio: Amerant Bank Arena, War Memorial Auditorium, the Baptist Health IcePlex, and the Panthers IceDen. That means building a personal pipeline of local, regional, and national brands, building category-specific proposals, and presenting to C-suite and senior marketing decision-makers.
Contract negotiation on your own deals is part of it, working with Legal and Finance to structure multi-year agreements, alongside keeping pipeline records and forecasts accurate.
It reports to the Vice President, Corporate Partnerships and is full-time and on-site in Sunrise. The posting asks for seven or more years in sponsorship sales plus at least two years managing a sales team. No pay range is stated.
