About the role
Oak View Group is hiring one person to run both Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania and the Reading Royals of the ECHL, the arena's main tenant. The arena is owned by the Berks County Convention Center Authority and managed by OVG, and the job also covers the Performing Arts Center next door.
On the arena side you book concerts, shows, and other events, build relationships with promoters and agents, prepare the annual operating budget, approve contracts, and report results to the building's owner and to OVG. Day to day you make sure every event has the staff and equipment it needs.
As team president you lead the Royals front office. That means ticketing, sponsorship, and premium sales, marketing and the game night experience, community and youth programs, hiring and developing staff, and keeping the business side in step with hockey operations. You are also the club's main public spokesperson.
OVG states a salary of $225,000 to $260,000 a year plus bonus eligibility, with health, dental, and vision cover, a 401(k) with matching, and paid time off including 11 holidays. The posting stays open until December 31, 2026.
