About the role
The LA Kings are hiring an HR Coordinator to support human resources across both the Kings and their AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign.
Working with the Manager of Human Resources, the role covers onboarding and offboarding, recruitment support, payroll processing, employee records, training coordination, status changes, and answering employee questions on policy and process. It also contributes to wider HR initiatives and special projects.
Day to day that means maintaining employee and player files, workers compensation records, contracts and I-9 records, processing new hires through UKG from the applicant tracking system, issuing background checks, and running or taking part in new hire orientation and benefits enrolment meetings.
Pay is $21.27 to $26.00 an hour and the posting lists full-time benefits. It is a route into sports administration for someone with HR coordination experience who wants it inside a professional club.
