About the role

The Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department is hiring a part-time, year-round Ice Guest Services Attendant. Attendants deal with guests directly, answering questions about the facility and its programs and taking payments.

You greet guests, sell memberships, passes, and pro shop items on a point-of-sale system, and explain the town's recreation programs. You also keep an eye on activity on the ice, handle facility reservations and equipment needs, run facility checks, and do light cleaning.

Shifts run six to eight hours between 7 a.m. and midnight, usually 10 to 20 hours a week, and include weekends and holidays. The hiring range is $20.00 to $21.25 an hour. Part-time year-round staff get a free recreation center pass, paid time off, free bike share and EV charging, and seasonal housing may be available to rent.

The town asks for at least a year each of customer service and cash handling. Skating skills and a background in organized hockey or figure skating are a plus. The role is open until filled and reviews have already started.
