Ice Rink Attendant

Oak View Group runs Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Ralston, on the edge of Omaha, home of the USHL's Omaha Lancers. It is hiring part-time attendants for the arena's community ice rink.

Attendants look after guests from the moment they arrive at the rink to the moment they leave. The job moves between the cash register, the skate rental room, cleaning, and guest service, depending on what the day needs. You sell admissions, rentals, and concessions on the point-of-sale system, hand out and put away rental skates, and keep lobbies, washrooms, benches, locker rooms, and bleachers tidy.

You also help set up youth hockey, tournaments, and private rentals, moving tables, chairs, and other equipment. Attendants are trained on the Zamboni and the Sparx skate sharpener, and open or close the rink when needed.

The pay is $16 to $18 an hour, and part-time staff get a 401(k) plan with a company match. Hours include weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays. The posting stays up until February 5, 2027.
