About the role
OCVIBE, the company behind the Anaheim Ducks and Honda Center, is hiring a full-time hourly Maintenance Engineer in its Operations Department. The job covers a sports and entertainment campus of more than 100 acres in Anaheim.
You install and repair commercial kitchen and food service equipment, from ovens, fryers, and dishwashers to refrigerators and ice machines. You keep electrical systems running, including panels, breakers, lighting, motor controls, and power distribution at 120/208V and 277/480V. And you repair plumbing, from piping and fixtures to restrooms and drains.
There is also basic HVAC work such as filter and belt changes, plus logged checks on boilers, chillers, and air handlers. Every job gets recorded in work orders and maintenance logs.
The role is on site and follows the event calendar, so shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays. The starting rate is $32 to $40 an hour.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen and food service refrigeration equipment
- Maintain electrical systems, lighting, motor controls, and power distribution
- Diagnose electrical faults with meters and schematics, following lockout and tagout
- Install and repair pumps, motors, piping, fixtures, and drains
- Change filters and belts on air handlers and log boiler and chiller performance
- Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years in a commercial or industrial facility
- Skilled in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical troubleshooting
- State certification in electrical or refrigeration preferred
- Able to read technical drawings and keep accurate maintenance logs
- Flexible schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays
