About the role
OC Sports & Entertainment, the company behind the Anaheim Ducks and the OCVIBE development, is hiring a Maintenance Tech I. This is a full-time hourly job in the Operations Department, on site in Anaheim.
The work is hands-on building repair across the venues and locations you are assigned to. You answer service requests, patch drywall and concrete, paint, fix tile, carpet, doors, and locks, and repair arena seating and other equipment. Metal and wood fabrication, including welding, is part of the job.
You also run preventive inspections, keep the maintenance shop stocked, pick up supplies, and deal with vendors and contractors. Shifts vary and include weekends and some holidays.
The starting rate is $23 to $26 an hour. The posting asks for at least three years of maintenance experience and a valid California driver's license.
Responsibilities

- Do metal and wood fabrication, including welding
- Keep the maintenance shop stocked and pick up supplies when needed
- Carry out preventive inspections and work with vendors and contractors
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least three years of experience in maintenance or a similar role
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Able to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift, or able to get certified
- Valid California driver's license and a good driving record
- Flexible schedule with varying shifts, weekends, and some holidays
