Retail Sales Associate

The Florida Panthers are hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate for the team shop at the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs. The job is in the Florida Team Shop department and reports to the Manager of Retail Operations.

You help customers choose what to buy, get to know the regulars, and explain the shop's range to people visiting for the first time. The rest of the shift goes to building displays, keeping the store tidy, watching inventory, and preventing theft.

The shop is inside a working ice rink, so expect cold temperatures, noise, and busy periods when crowds come through. The schedule is flexible and can include late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Sales experience is preferred, especially in sports or retail. Having played hockey or figure skated helps, and so does knowing the equipment. The posting does not state pay.

• Help customers with buying decisions and general service questions
• Build sales through conversations with repeat and first-time customers
• Monitor inventory and watch for theft
• Keep the store looking clean and organized
• Set up merchandise and create displays

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Sports or retail sales experience preferred
• Hockey or figure skating playing experience preferred
• Knowledge of hockey or figure skating equipment preferred
• High school diploma preferred
• Able to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
