Retail Supervisor

The Florida Panthers are hiring a full-time Retail Supervisor for the FLA TeamShop pro shop inside Panthers IceDen, the club's practice rink and community ice centre in Coral Springs. The supervisor reports to the Retail Manager and runs the shop floor alongside a team of retail sales associates.

This is a hands-on hockey shop job. Along with selling and greeting customers, you fit players and figure skaters for skates and equipment, sharpen skates, and do repairs, and you train the staff to do the same. You keep the shop merchandised and clean, run the point of sale, and keep the cash drawer accurate.

The supervisor side covers helping to recruit, hire, and train staff, building schedules and handling payroll, managing invoices, purchasing, and the department budget, and using sales reports to reorder stock and spot losses.

The Panthers want someone with supervisory and retail experience who already knows hockey and figure skating equipment fittings, repairs, and sharpening. The job is paid hourly and needs flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay is not listed in the posting.
