About the role

AEG is hiring a senior director of human resources for its sports properties, the LA Kings and their AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign. The role is based in El Segundo and leads the HR team that supports both clubs.

The senior director advises the clubs' business leaders on organization design, workforce planning, leadership coaching, employee relations, and hiring. You turn each club's business plans into an HR plan, sit in on leadership discussions, and take the lead on difficult employee relations cases, working with Legal where needed.

The job also covers day-to-day HR operations: new hires, payroll coordination, benefits, performance reviews, and merit increases. You keep the clubs compliant with California and federal employment law, look after the security of employee records, and run the HR budget. You are the main HR contact between the clubs and AEG's corporate teams.

The posted pay is $148,956 to $200,000 a year, and the role is eligible for a bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision cover, paid time off, parental leave, and a 401(k) with a 3% match.
