About the role
The Buffalo Sabres are hiring a manager to bring research and data into the club's corporate partnerships and content work. The job is based at KeyBank Center and sits between the Strategy and Analytics team and the Corporate Partnerships team.
Much of the work is helping sell and report on sponsorships. You value categories and assets, find prospects, benchmark the rate card, run consumer and brand research, and build proposals and presentations. You also run the midseason and end-of-season recaps for partners and add to the executive dashboards that track partnership numbers.
On the content side, you audit digital content and marketing, spot content that could carry a sponsor, and estimate what it is worth. Each year you produce a State of the Team analysis on fan growth, consumption, and outlook. You also review the club's research and measurement vendors and recommend changes.
The pay is $65,000 to $75,000 a year, with medical plans, a 401(k) match, and paid time off. Some nights and weekends are needed for Sabres and Bandits games.
