Ticketing Associate

Oak View Group runs the Macon Centreplex, and the Macon Coliseum there is home ice for the Macon Mayhem of the SPHL. The company is hiring a part-time Ticketing Associate to sell tickets and parking across the complex, which also has a city auditorium and an amphitheater.

On an event day you work a box office window or a parking booth. You sell walk-up tickets, passes, and VIP upgrades in Ticketmaster, sell parking by vehicle type, and take cash, cards, and mobile payments. You also scan digital tickets, print credentials, and sort out delivery problems with tickets bought in advance.

Guests will ask you about seating, schedules, food, and venue rules, and drivers will need quick directions into the lots. You count your drawer at the start and end of each shift.

The schedule follows the event calendar, so most hours fall on evenings and weekends, with some holidays. Pay is $10 to $11 an hour, and part-time staff can join the 401(k) plan with a company match. The posting stays open until February 5, 2027.

• Take cash, card, and mobile payments and keep a balanced drawer
• Scan digital tickets, print credentials, and fix delivery problems on prepaid orders
• Answer guest questions about seating, schedules, food locations, and venue rules
• Direct drivers entering the property to keep traffic moving
• Do the opening and closing counts on box office and mobile parking registers

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in retail sales, cash handling, hospitality, or customer service
• Experience with Ticketmaster software and point of sale hardware, or able to learn them quickly
• Able to work in a confined parking booth, stand for long periods, and handle outdoor weather
• Available for nights, weekends, and some holidays
